Can I buy an insurance policy by directly contacting the Company?

No. Brethren Mutual is not a direct writer of insurance. This means independent insurance agents located in Maryland, Pennsylvania and Virginia are appointed to conduct business with Brethren Mutual and sell our products to customers. Brethren Mutual policyholders have the option to pay their insurance premium in one payment; however, the Company offers several convenient pay plans based on the total premium due. If you have questions, contact your Brethren Mutual independent insurance agent or Brethren Mutual's Policyholder Services Department at 800-621-4264.


Can I pay my insurance premium online?

Yes. Brethren Mutual policyholders can pay their insurance premium online with a credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover accepted). Click here for step-by-step instructions.


What other ways can I pay my insurance premium?

Brethren Mutual policyholders can pay their insurance premium with check or money order. Additionally, policyholders can sign-up for Monthly Revolving Credit Card or EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) payments.


Signing up for EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer)?

If you choose to pay your insurance premium electronically via EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer), be sure to include a voided check when submitting the appropriate EFT application to the Company. This ensures Brethren Mutual has the correct banking information on file.


Can I make a premium payment over the phone?
